Identity & Branding

A new car wash brand is coming to the Southwest called Dash. The client came to us wanting a friendly, energetic, and playful new brand that was eye-catching and conveyed a clean car feel. Considering the car wash market is over-saturated these days I took serious consideration when thinking of typography, symbolism, and color. I chose an all-caps modern bold san serif font that could shine like a beacon from the side of the road and inserted an arrow in the stem of the D. The decision to go with purple and indigo as main brand colors, came from a place of color psychology and longevity knowing these signs will be baking in the Nevada & Arizona sun for decades.
